What it is
Address Change, explained in plain English.
The registered office is the company's official address - the place where statutory registers are kept and notices are served. Changes are governed by Sections 12-13 of the Companies Act and require board approval, special resolution (in some cases) and an INC-22 filing within 30 days. Inter-state moves additionally need Regional Director approval via Form INC-23.
