Turnover Certificate in Hyderabad
For Telangana tenders, PSU bids, bank limits and buyer audits, handled remotely
Hyderabad businesses are asked for certified turnover by a wide mix of readers: Telangana departments and the municipal corporation evaluating bids, defence and public sector buyers, banks reviewing limits, and pharma and life-science customers qualifying a vendor. Many of the businesses asking are exporters or SEZ suppliers, which is exactly where the turnover figures start to diverge.
Regikart has no Hyderabad office. We serve Hyderabad clients remotely from Kolkata, Delhi and Bengaluru: you send the requirement and the records, we work out which turnover the reader wants and reconcile it, and you receive a signed certificate with a UDIN the reader can verify online.

Who needs one in Hyderabad
Telangana tenders and the buyers around Hyderabad
Telangana's departments and local bodies publish on the state's e-procurement platform at tender.telangana.gov.in. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation's own tender documents direct bidders there. The eligibility clause usually sets a turnover floor over the preceding three financial years and names the evidence, and some GHMC documents ask for an original certificate from a chartered accountant giving the turnover for the reference years. Read the clause for three things: which years, whether a minimum applies to each year or to the average, and whether an original or a scan is wanted.
Hyderabad suppliers also bid for central demand. Defence laboratories, public sector manufacturers and central institutions in and around the city buy through GeM or their own e-procurement portals, and a GeM bid commonly sets a minimum average annual turnover for three years, accepting audited balance sheets or a CA certificate as proof. Exemptions for micro and small enterprises appear in many bids but not all.
A third reader is specific to the city's pharma base: a customer's quality or procurement team qualifying a supplier. They rarely prescribe a format. We draft to their questionnaire, state the period and basis, and keep the language usable for an overseas reviewer.
Export incentives, SEZ supplies and "revenue from operations"
Hyderabad's manufacturers and service exporters see the turnover figures split in ways a domestic trader does not.
Schedule III to the Companies Act presents revenue from operations in three parts: sale of products, sale of services and other operating revenues. Export incentives such as duty drawback and RoDTEP credits, and the sale of process scrap, usually sit in that third part. They are genuine revenue in the accounts, but they are not supplies in your GST returns. Supplies to SEZ units go the other way: they are zero-rated under GST and counted in aggregate turnover, and they are in the accounts too. Exports are excluded altogether when MSME classification is worked out.
| Illustrative: FY 2025-26, Hyderabad API manufacturer | ₹ lakh |
|---|---|
| Sale of products (domestic, exports and SEZ) | 2,140.0 |
| Other operating revenues: export incentives and scrap | 85.0 |
| Revenue from operations as per audited accounts | 2,225.0 |
| GST aggregate turnover (products only, incentives not a supply) | 2,140.0 |
| Of sale of products, physical exports | 1,260.0 |
| Turnover excluding exports, for MSME purposes | 880.0 |
A clause asking for turnover "as per audited accounts" points to ₹2,225.0 lakh, though some notices specify sales only, which would be ₹2,140.0 lakh. A requirement framed on GST data points to ₹2,140.0 lakh, and an MSME scheme looks at ₹880.0 lakh. Whether a particular scheme treats SEZ supplies as exports is a question we check against that scheme's own wording, not assume. The certificate states one figure and its basis.
Bank limits and IT empanelments
For export credit and working capital renewals, Hyderabad banks often want the year's turnover before the audit is signed. We certify from the books and the GST returns, cross-checked to export realisation records, and mark the figures unaudited. Where the bank wants projections and an assessed limit, that is CMA data.
IT empanelments often ask for turnover from software or IT-enabled services only, and some ask for it separately for the Indian entity where a group has several. We certify a segment figure only where the revenue ledger records it that way.
Hyderabad's pharma and IT groups often run through several companies: a manufacturing entity, a marketing company, an Indian subsidiary of an overseas parent. A turnover certificate is issued for one entity, identified by its PAN, and reports that entity's figure. A buyer who wants the group's turnover needs consolidated audited statements, and we certify from those only where they exist and the clause allows it. Adding up separate entities' figures on one certificate, without that basis, is something an evaluator would rightly reject.
The rules, at a glance
| Who can sign | A Chartered Accountant holding a certificate of practice from ICAI |
|---|---|
| UDIN | Required on every certificate signed on or after 1 February 2019; generated within 60 days of signing and verifiable by anyone at udin.icai.org |
| Records relied on | Audited financial statements, books of account, GST returns and income-tax returns, as the requester asks |
| Standard | ICAI's Guidance Note on Reports or Certificates for Special Purposes |
| Government fee | Nil |
Tenders, banks and schemes define turnover differently. The certificate states which figure it reports and the records it is drawn from.
Documents to keep ready
Turnover Certificate fee in Hyderabad
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Regikart professional fee: turnover certificate | Fee on quote after a free review |
| Government fee | No government fee |
| UDIN generation and verification | Free |
| Net worth certificate, where the same tender or bank asks for one | From ₹1,499 per certificate plus GST |
Professional fees exclude GST at 18%. Government fees, where they apply, are paid at actuals and shown separately. Fees verified on 25 October 2026.
What sets the quote is the number of years, whether each is audited, how many GSTINs sit under the PAN, and how much separating out exports, SEZ supplies and incentives the requirement needs. Share the clause and the accounts and we confirm a fixed fee in writing before starting. Working remotely does not change the fee, and if the same bid asks for a net worth certificate, we quote both together.
Working with us from Hyderabad
Regikart has no office in Hyderabad. We serve Hyderabad clients remotely from our offices in Kolkata (head office), Delhi and Bengaluru. You upload the requirement, the accounts and the GST returns, or send them on WhatsApp at +91 70444 94804 or to [email protected]; we come back with the figure we can certify, its basis, the document list and a fixed fee. The signed certificate reaches you as a PDF by email, and we courier a hard copy where the tender or bank wants an original. Where a GHMC or departmental notice asks for an original certificate, tell us the bid due date at the start so the courier is planned in.
Timeline
There is no standard turnaround for a turnover certificate, because the work is in the records. Audited accounts and filed GST returns that already agree for every year in the period make it quick. An open year, books that have not been closed, or a gap between the accounts and the GST data that has to be reconciled first makes it longer. You get a date along with the quote, once we have reviewed the records.
Checking the UDIN
The certificate carries a UDIN generated on the ICAI portal when we sign; ICAI requires it on certificates signed on or after 1 February 2019, within 60 days of signing. Anyone relying on the certificate, from a tender committee to a bank's credit team, can verify it free at udin.icai.org with an OTP, without contacting us.
